Our 14oz candles can burn for approximately 60-70 hours. To maximize the efficiency of your product, remember to trim the wick before each use.

Luminosa Vida candles are hand-poured in Austin Texas with luxurious coconut wax, phthalate-free fragrance oil, and slow-burning cotton wicks.

All of our products are pet friendly, skin safe, and our packaging is eco-friendly as we are consistently looking for ways to protect and preserve our environment.

Please inspect your order and contact us within 7 business days of receiving your order if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item.

If your purchase comes damaged upon arrival, immediately send us an email at hola@luminosavida.com with photo proof and your order number so we can assist you in a timely manner.

Please be sure to follow these safety tips when lighting your candle.

• Trim your wick to 1/4" before each and every burn. This ensures that the flame does not smoke, flicker too much or rise too high.
• Your first burn needs to be 3-4 hours in order to achieve a full melt pool. A full melt pool prevents the candle from tunneling, which is excess wax build up on the side of your vessels.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep your candle out of reach from children and pets.
• Never burn your candle near anything that can catch fire.
• Be sure that you place your candle on a stable, and heat resistant surface.
• Always leave 1/2 inch of wax at the bottom of the vessel.

If the wax does not burn quickly enough to keep up with the wick, a mushroom wick occurs, which results in the wick consuming the wax resulting in an accumulation of carbon particles on the wick. Trim the black 'cap' off and bend or 'curl' the tip of the wick to repair the mushroom wick. Mushrooming can also occur when a candle is burned for a prolonged period of time.

Packages containing wax products shipped between June and September will only be shipped Monday - Wednesday to protect the product from melting during transit.

Extreme Weather Conditions Coconut wax is sensitive to extreme hot or cold temperatures, and we take this into consideration when determining ship dates. Your shipment could be delayed during extreme weather conditions.

All orders will be shipped 3-5 business days after order is received excluding weekends and holidays.

Please allow additional time for orders submitted during the weekend or during holidays.

Shipping costs depend on how much you order, where you live, and which shipping method you choose. You will see the shipping costs before you finalize your purchase.

We are not responsible for your order being shipped to the incorrect address provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for providing the correct address when placing their order. 

If you feel you have entered the wrong shipping address, you may contact us hola@luminosavida.com immediately upon placing your order.

If your order is already marked as "In Progress," address change is not guaranteed. If your order is marked as "Shipped," it has already been dropped off at the post office and we will be unable to change your mailing address. Please contact the shipping carrier and request an interception of your package.

Luminosa Vida currently only ships in the domestic United States.
