Why is my candle mushrooming?
Sometimes you may notice a small “cap” forming on top of your wick this is called mushrooming. It happens when the wax doesn’t burn quickly enough to keep up with the flame, leaving behind carbon build-up on the wick.
✨ To fix it: Simply trim off the black cap and gently bend or curl the tip of the wick before relighting.
✨ Why it happens: Mushrooming can also occur if a candle burns for an extended period of time without a wick trim.

how do i get rid of the soot on my vessel?
The easiest way to keep your candle burning clean is to trim your wick before each burn. A well-trimmed wick reduces smoke and helps prevent soot.
✨ A little soot is normal — whenever fire is involved, a light film can sometimes appear inside the glass.
✨ The good news: it’s easy to clean! Once your candle has completely cooled, simply take a damp paper towel and gently wipe around the inside edge of the glass to restore its glow.
